Scooter Bandits Target Women’s Jewelry in Latest Incidents

BRONX, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for public assistance regarding a series of robberies involving the theft of necklaces. Two more incidents have been added to this pattern, both taking place in July.

The most recent incident was reported on Thursday, July 20, involving a 34-year-old female victim near Ogden Avenue and W. 170 Street. The previous incident took place on Saturday, July 15, involving a 14-year-old female victim at 215 East 197 Street.

Victims have reported minor injuries.
