Camden County player wins $500,000 on first top prize of Neon 9’s scratch-off

Trenton, NJ – A lucky Camden County resident is half a million dollars richer after buying a $10 Neon 9’s scratch-off ticket that turned out to be the first top prize winner in the newly launched game.

The winning ticket was sold at Country Farms, located at 704 Blackwood Clementon Road in Pine Hill. The player, who claimed the prize last week at the New Jersey Lottery office, said instinct played a big part in the decision to purchase the winning ticket.

“I was always told to go with my first guess,” the player said. “That was the first ticket I thought to get when I was in the store… But this time, I went ahead and grabbed it.”

The $10 Neon 9’s game offers three top prizes of $500,000. With this win, two of the grand prizes remain unclaimed.

Since 1970, the New Jersey Lottery has contributed nearly $33.7 billion to the state, currently supporting the public employee pension system through a long-term funding agreement.
