TOLEDO, OH — A lucky Ohio Lottery player won $50,000 after purchasing a $500,000 Platinum Jackpot scratch-off ticket at Nidos Carryout on Airport Highway.

After state and federal taxes totaling 28%, the winner will take home approximately $36,000.

$500,000 Platinum Jackpot is a $10 scratch-off game featuring a top prize of $500,000. As of March 20, two top prizes remain unclaimed.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
