Scratch-off stunner $3M ticket sold in Somerset County

SOMERSET, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery player has claimed a top prize of $3 million from a scratch-off ticket purchased in Somerset County, lottery officials announced Thursday.

The winning ticket was a $160 Million Cash Blowout Scratch-Off, sold at Par Mar, located at 4157 Glades Pike in Somerset. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the prize-winning ticket.

The $160 Million Cash Blowout is a $30 scratch-off game offering top prizes of $3 million. The Pennsylvania Lottery reminds players that all Scratch-Off prizes must be claimed within one year of the game’s end-sale date, which is posted at palottery.com.

The Lottery does not know in advance where winning tickets will be sold, as Scratch-Offs are distributed randomly. Prize locations are only known once a winning ticket is redeemed.

Winners are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket and call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 to begin the claims process. All prizes over $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding.
