Scratch-off ticket lands Baltimore County woman a $50K jackpot

WINDSOR MILL, MD — A Baltimore County woman quietly claimed a $50,000 Maryland Lottery scratch-off prize this week, keeping her win a closely guarded secret.

She purchased the Deluxe Crossword 9th Edition instant ticket at Windsor Mill BP, located at 2202 North Rolling Road.

Rather than celebrate publicly, she plans to use her winnings to pay off debts and assist family members while continuing to enjoy playing lottery games.

The $5 scratch-off game, launched in September 2024, still has five unclaimed $50,000 top prizes, along with multiple smaller prizes remaining.
