Scuba Santa dives into Adventure Aquarium’s Christmas Underwater celebration

CAMDEN, N.J. — Adventure Aquarium’s Christmas Underwater event began Thursday, offering a unique holiday experience featuring festive displays and underwater surprises through December 24.

A key attraction is Scuba Santa, who swims among sharks, sea turtles, and rays in the aquarium’s massive tanks, delighting visitors with a one-of-a-kind Christmas spectacle. The event also boasts the World’s Tallest Underwater Christmas Tree, a dazzling display set beneath the surface of the water.

On land, guests can immerse themselves in holiday magic with snow-like flurries in the Snowtunda and other festive decorations throughout the venue. Tickets for the event range from $27.99 to $47.99, providing access to both the holiday festivities and the aquarium’s marine exhibits.

“Christmas Underwater offers a holiday celebration unlike any other,” organizers said, highlighting the blend of marine life and seasonal cheer.

With its combination of aquatic wonders and holiday spirit, Christmas Underwater continues to be a standout seasonal event for families and visitors in the region.
