Carjack Victim Complied with Suspects’ Demands, Shot in Face Anyway

GREENBELT, MD – The Greenbelt Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating a shooting coupled with an attempted carjacking.

This incident took place at the Exxon located at 7619 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt, on Thursday, around 3:25 a.m.

The victim was approached by culprits driving a dark-colored Toyota Corolla, one of whom was armed with a rifle.

Even after complying with their demands, the victim was shot in the face by the suspect wearing red shoes.

The criminals fled the scene in the Toyota. Those with any information on the suspects are being asked to contact the Greenbelt Police Department or Detective Davis directly.
