BROOKFIELD, CT – The Brookfield Police Department has located the body of 76-year-old Wayne R. Pogers who went missing during the week. Police located Pogers’ body after his wife reported him missing after heading to the backyard to do some chores and to work on his boat.
His wife called 911 when she realized he was nowhere to be found. Police attempted CPR upon his removal from the water. He was later pronounced dead at Danbury Hospital.
