Search for Suspect in NYC Attempted Sexual Assaults

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance to locate Christopher Marrero, a 23-year-old male, in connection with two attempted sexual assaults.

On Sunday, December 31, at around 10:10 a.m., near 16th Street and 5th Avenue, Marrero allegedly followed a 21-year-old woman, attempting to drag her into a secluded area.

The victim managed to escape without requiring medical attention.

Later the same day, at approximately 12:00 p.m., near 14th Street and 5th Avenue, Marrero reportedly entered a restroom and attempted to remove the clothing of a 24-year-old woman. The victim escaped, and the assailant fled on foot.
