Second Teen Arrested in Connection with Mount Eden Train Station Shooting

NEW YORK, NY — A 14-year-old male was taken into custody on Thursday within the confines of the 44 Precinct, facing charges related to a violent incident at the Mount Eden train station. He faces allegations of murder, four counts of attempted murder, and criminal possession of a weapon. This arrest is part of an investigation into a shooting that occurred on February 12, where two individuals fired multiple shots on the northbound platform of the “4” train, injuring six.

Additionally, a 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged with one count of murder and five counts of attempted murder. The suspects, described as males in their 20s with one having a light complexion and the other a dark complexion, were reported to have fled the scene on foot. The authorities are continuing their investigation into this grave incident, aiming to bring all responsible parties to justice.
