Security guard shot to death during altercation at Baltimore McDonald’s

BALTIMORE, MD — A security guard was shot and killed Sunday afternoon during a confrontation inside a fast food restaurant on Reisterstown Road in Baltimore’s Northern District.

The shooting occurred at approximately 4:04 p.m. at McDonald’s in the 4400 block of Reisterstown Road. Officers arrived to find the victim, an adult male, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Investigators say the victim was working as a security guard inside the restaurant when a physical altercation with an unidentified suspect escalated to gunfire.
