Senior Citizen Killed in Roosevelt Street Blaze

PAULSBORO, NJ – A senior citizen died in a housefire in Paulsboro on Wednesday.

The scene unfolded on Roosevelt Street around 5:25 p.m., as firefighters raced against time to rescue a 65-year-old man trapped inside a home engulfed in flames.

Despite their best efforts, the intense heat and unyielding flames thwarted the rescue mission, leading to the tragic demise of the resident.

As of the latest update, authorities have yet to release the identity of the victim.
