Series of Auto Thefts Reported Near Wawa in Woodbury Heights

WOODBURY HEIGHTS, NJ – The local police department has issued a public warning following a spate of auto thefts near the Wawa on Rt. 45.

Four vehicles have been stolen over the past two weeks, with several individuals, including juveniles, linked to the crimes.

Charges, including carjacking, have been filed, and multiple arrests have been made.

The police emphasize the importance of securing vehicles, as all stolen cars were left unlocked with the keys inside.

While patrols have been increased, the community is asked to take preventive measures by locking their vehicles and removing keys when unattended.
