Marlboro, NJ — Tennant Road is currently closed between Wooleytown Road and Greenwood Road following a serious motor vehicle crash that resulted in an overturned car. The accident also caused telephone poles and electrical lines to be knocked down onto the roadway, leading to a power outage in the surrounding area.
Marlboro Township Police are on the scene, and a detour will be established shortly. Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) has been contacted and will be responding to address the downed power lines.
Residents and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible until the situation is resolved.
