Serious Motor Vehicle Crash Under Investigation in Hunterdon County

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – On Monday, a serious motor vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Route 31 southbound and Regional Road in Hunterdon County. A 2008 Jeep Wrangler, operated by a 17-year-old female, collided with a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, operated by a 69-year-old male traveling southbound on Route 31.

The female driver and a passenger were transported to Hunterdon Medical Center for evaluation while the male driver was flown to Morristown Memorial Hospital and is listed in critical condition. The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office’s Forensic Analysis Collision Team and the Clinton Township Police Department are conducting a joint investigation into the crash.
