Serious Motorcycle Collision in North Versailles Leads to Investigation

North Versailles, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit, along with their Collision Reconstructionist team, responded to a major motorcycle and vehicle collision in North Versailles today.

The accident occurred at approximately 2:49 PM in the 300 block of Lincoln Highway. Upon arrival, first responders discovered two adult male victims, the operator and passenger of the motorcycle, who were traveling east on Lincoln Highway. The collision happened when their motorcycle struck a sedan turning left onto Lincoln Highway from Highwood Street.

Both victims on the motorcycle were transported to local hospitals. The operator of the motorcycle is currently in critical condition, while the passenger is reported to be in stable condition. The occupants of the sedan involved in the collision did not sustain any injuries.

Homicide detectives have initiated an investigation into the incident. The Allegheny County Police Department is urging anyone with information about this collision to contact their tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
