Severe Overnight Weather Causes Widespread Damage in Albemarle County

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA—The Albemarle County Police Department and Albemarle County Fire Rescue are currently handling multiple emergencies related to severe weather conditions.

The authorities are responded to numerous reports of downed trees and power lines across the county overnight.

As of Sunday morning, roughly 5,000 homes are still without power.
