Severe weather forces cancellation of Burlington Cruise Night and Concert

Classic car show

BURLINGTON, N.J. — Thursday evening’s scheduled “Cruzin on the River” Car & Motorcycle Cruise Night and Concert has been postponed due to severe weather, according to the City of Burlington and the BCPD K-9 Unit.

Originally set to take place from 6 to 8 p.m. along the Riverfront Promenade, the popular community event was called off amid forecasts of rainstorms, lightning, and high wind gusts expected around 4 p.m.

“POSTPONED DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER,” the event flyer read in bold red letters. Organizers urged attendees to stay safe and said they look forward to resuming the event next month.

The monthly gathering typically features live music, food vendors, door prizes, and classic cars and motorcycles lining the promenade. Admission is free, and trophies are awarded monthly.

Event supports K-9 unit and local pet charity

In addition to entertainment, the event supports the “Adopt-A-Dog Trust” through donations and helps raise funds for the Burlington Police K-9 Unit. Contact information and social media updates are available for future rescheduling details.
