Severn man busted with heroin and fentanyl in Annapolis arrest

ANNAPOLIS, MD – A Severn man with an outstanding warrant was arrested after attempting to flee from detectives during a Monday morning encounter in Annapolis.

On July 28 at approximately 10:10 a.m., a Southern District detective spotted the suspect at a gas station in the 100 block of Solomons Island Road. As the detective approached, the man tried to run but was quickly taken into custody.

A search of the suspect’s vehicle led to the discovery of approximately seven grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl.

Police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Khaja Sayquan Sani Stansbury of Severn. He was arrested and charged with multiple offenses.
