Severn Traffic Stop Results in DUI and Weapons Charges

SEVERN, MD – A traffic stop conducted on Sunday, at around 1:35 a.m. in the area of Town Center Boulevard and Jacobs Road led to the arrest of Marquise Devon Reid, a 32-year-old from Apopka.

The Western District officer who stopped the gray Toyota pickup truck noticed a strong smell of alcohol.

In addition, the officer noticed signs of impairment in the driver.

Further investigation revealed a handgun in the vehicle.

Reid was arrested and charged with DUI and weapon-related offenses.
