Seymour store becomes lucky spot for Oxford player’s big Cashword win

SEYMOUR, Conn. — An Oxford resident has won $10,000 playing the Connecticut Lottery’s $100,000 Cashword scratch-off game, officials announced Thursday.

The winning ticket was purchased at Henny Penny Seymour 28, a popular retailer located in Seymour.

$100,000 Cashword is a crossword-style scratch-off game offering players the chance to win prizes up to $100,000.

The Connecticut Lottery reminds players to check their tickets carefully and encourages winners to sign the back of their tickets to secure their prizes.
