Shalla Restaurant Robbed At Gunpoint

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Shalla restaurant on Sligo Avenue on Thursday.

At approximately 12:20 a.m., three masked men, two armed with firearms and one carrying a red bag, entered the restaurant.

They demanded and obtained personal property from the patrons. The suspects then fled towards Washington, D.C.

Suspects are described as one heavy-set male in a black BMW sweatshirt and two others in all-black attire.

 Anyone with information is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police.
