Shooting and Robbery at Columbus Hotel, Suspect Sought

COLUMBUS, OH – On November 28, at 7:20 a.m., Columbus Police responded to a shooting at a hotel on E. Dublin Granville Road. A male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen following a robbery. The unidentified male suspect, armed with a firearm, demanded money and searched the victim. After striking the victim with the firearm and shooting him, the suspect fled in a silver sedan with tinted windows. The victim, now in stable condition, was transported to a local hospital.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’1″ tall, weighing between 180-200lbs, with a dark complexion, beard, wearing a long coat with fur around the hood, dark pants with a white stripe, and armed with a black firearm.
