DURHAM, N.C. — A shooting incident unfolded at a residence in Durham, claiming the life of a 4-year-old girl and leaving a 15-year-old girl in a critical condition.
The Durham Police Department received a call shortly before 2 p.m. regarding an overdose in the 300 block of North Guthrie Avenue, five minutes from downtown Durham.
Investigators from the Durham Police Department reported a male suspect is currently in custody related to the case. However, the specific charges are yet to be determined and the man’s connection to the incident remains unclear.
