Shooting in Flatbush Leaves One Dead, One Injured

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – An 18-year-old man, identified as Anwah Armbrister, was fatally shot and a 15-year-old girl injured during a shooting in Flatbush on Sunday.

The incident took place around 5:15 p.m. inside a residence at 460 East 21st St.

Upon being shot, both victims exited the building.

EMS transported both to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The girl, who had a graze wound on her left shin, was treated and subsequently released.

Armbrister, however, succumbed to his injuries. The NYPD encourages anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers using the available platforms.
