Shooting in Flatbush Strikes Car, Suspect Flees

BROOKLYN, NY—A shooting incident on Friday evening resulted in damage to a vehicle but no injuries, according to police reports. At approximately 9:00 PM, an unknown individual discharged a firearm at the northeast corner of Avenue V and Flatbush Avenue, striking the front windshield of a 2017 blue Lexus.

The assailant, described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build, was seen fleeing the scene on foot heading west on Avenue V. His attire at the time included a red backpack, a black shirt, red sweatpants, and black sneakers. The NYPD is currently seeking any information regarding the individual involved in this incident as their investigation continues.
