Shooting in Glen Burnie Ends with Attempted Murder Charge for 30-Year-Old

GLEN BURNIE, MD — On Monday, at about 4:30 p.m., police were summoned to the 400 block of Secluded Post Circle after receiving reports of gunfire. A preliminary investigation determined that during an argument inside an apartment, one adult threatened another with bodily harm and fired a shotgun toward a 30-year-old male.

The victim was not hit. Police confiscated a 20 gauge shotgun from the scene.

The shooter, who is legally banned from owning firearms, was arrested and faces charges of attempted murder and other weapons-related offenses.

His name was not released.
