Shooting in Harrisburg Claims One Life

HARRISBURG, PA – On Thursday, around 5:50 p.m., shots were reported in the vicinity of South 19th and Holly Streets.

Harrisburg Police arrived at the scene to discover an adult male with gunshot wounds.

Although the victim was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

Preliminary findings indicate that an unidentified individual fired several shots at a group near South 19th and Holly Streets before fleeing on foot.
