Shooting in McKees Rocks Under Investigation

MCKEES ROCKS, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred in McKees Rocks.

Assisting the Allegheny County Housing Authority Police, the department responded to a call at 1:27 a.m. in the 16 block of Bell Avenue.

First responders found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

The ACPD detectives have initiated an investigation into the incident. The public is asked to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS with any relevant information.
