Shooting in North Philadelphia Leaves One Injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A severe shooting incident occurred at approximately 7:27 PM in a residence on the 1700 block of N Gratz Street in North Philadelphia. A 67-year-old male was critically injured after being shot multiple times in the jaw, right chest, and right back.

Following the incident, Philadelphia police swiftly transported the victim to Temple Hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition. As of now, no weapon has been recovered, and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

The Shooting Investigation Group (SIG) is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the event. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
