NORTH VERSAILLES, PA – A fatal shooting occurred on Della Drive around 1 p.m. on Thursday. Allegheny County police arrived to find a man dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside an apartment. T
he identity of the deceased remains undisclosed.
Another man was taken into custody from the same apartment. Preliminary reports from North Versailles police suggest a dispute between two brothers inside their mother’s residence might be the cause.
Investigators recovered a firearm from the scene.
Homicide detectives are currently gathering evidence and will liaise with the district attorney’s office about potential charges.
