Shooting in Philadelphia’s 18th District Leaves Man Injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 28-year-old man was shot in the right thigh last night in the 18th District of Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 6:23 PM on 5400 Chancellor Street as the victim walked to a friend’s house.

Police transported the injured man to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he is currently listed in stable condition. As of now, no specific scene of the shooting has been identified, and no weapons have been recovered.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group (SIG) is actively investigating the incident and seeking public information to aid in their investigation.
