Shooting in Southwest BaltimoreLeaves 42-Year-Old Woman Critical

BALTIMORE, MD — A severe shooting incident occurred on the evening of August 9, 2024, leading Baltimore Southwest District officers to the 1100 block of West Lombard Street around 6:08 p.m.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered a 42-year-old female victim inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was quickly transported by medics to a nearby hospital where she is currently listed in critical condition. Given the gravity of her injuries, the case has been escalated to the Homicide Unit of the Baltimore Police Department for further investigation.
