Shooting Incident in Severn Leaves Victim with Life-Threatening Injuries

On March 18, 2024, around 6:05 p.m., officers patrolling the 1100 block of Reece Road in Severn were approached by a 31-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to his torso. The victim described the suspect as a male wearing dark clothing. Officers provided medical assistance until the victim was transported by Fire Department personnel for treatment of his life-threatening injuries.

Further investigation revealed that the shooting took place in front of a residence in the 8500 block of Pioneer Drive. Western District Detectives are conducting an investigation and urge anyone with information to contact 410-222-6155.
