Shooting leaves one injured in Edgewood

EDGEWOOD, MD – Late on Sunday, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident in Edgewood. Deputies discovered the victim, 20-year-old William Thomas Geary Jr., suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound to his upper body.

The incident took place near Candlewood Drive and Candlewood Court, with initial investigations suggesting an altercation between Geary and an unknown suspect, resulting in the shooting. The suspect fled the scene after the incident. The motive behind the incident and the relationship between the suspect and victim are still under investigation.

Detectives of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division ask anyone with information about this crime, or who may have video of the incident, to call Detective Moro at 443-409-3154.
