Shooting Leaves One Man Dead In D.C.

Washington, D.C. — Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Thursday morning in Southeast D.C.

At approximately 10:09 a.m., a ShotSpotter detected a gunshot in the 1400 block of Howard Rd., SE. Upon arrival, officers found a man unconscious with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
