Shooting on A Street Leaves Man in Critical Condition in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A shooting incident has left a 35-year-old Hispanic male critically wounded on the city’s highway.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:46 PM at 28xx A Street. The victim, identified only as “John Doe,” suffered a gunshot wound to the right side of his back. Philadelphia Police responded to the scene and transported the victim to Temple Hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition.

Currently, no arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered. The scene has been secured as the Special Investigations Group (SIG) conducts its investigation.

Officer Tanya Little from the Philadelphia Police Department’s Office of Public Affairs provided the details on the ongoing inquiry.
