Shooting outside Wilkes-Barre club leaves one dead

WILKES-BARRE, PA – One man died after a shooting outside the Aqua Lounge along South Main Street in Wilkes-Barre in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police officers responded to the scene at around 1 a.m. and found the man outside with a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

The victim had been involved in an argument inside the club that moved outside, where the shooting occurred.

Police are questioning those involved and ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department.

At this time, no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.
