Shooting Reported in Lexington Park, Victim Medevaced

LEXINGTON PARK, MD – Early morning on Monday, at about 12:15 a.m., a shooting was reported on the 46000 block of Hilton Drive.

Upon their arrival, officers identified a victim with at least one gunshot injury to the arm and secured the vicinity.

Following a quick assessment, emergency personnel deemed it necessary for the victim to receive urgent medical attention.

Consequently, a landing zone was set up by firefighters at Lexington Park Elementary School on 46763 South Shangri La Drive.

A Maryland State Police Trooper 7 subsequently airlifted the injured individual to a nearby trauma facility.
