Shooting Victim Found on Evelyn Court in Maplewood

MAPLEWOOD, NJ – On Monday, just after 2 p.m., a person with a gunshot wound was discovered lying on Evelyn Court.

Maplewood police stated that the initial shooting took place in Irvington, though specific details about the incident were not provided.

The victim was subsequently transported to a hospital, with their current condition remaining uncertain.

Despite the incident, Maplewood police have assured there is no ongoing threat to the public.

They ask anyone with information about the shooting to contact Irvington police.
