Shot Multiple Times, Queen Man Dies as Police Search for Suspect

QUEENS, NY—Police responded to a report of a shooting at the intersection of 117 Street and Rockaway Boulevard early Monday morning. At approximately 1:04 AM, officers from the 106 Precinct found a 27-year-old male, later identified as Temel Philips of 215-04 102 Avenue, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency Medical Services transported Philips to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
