Shots fired in front of Queens home as suspect flees on foot

QUEENS, N.Y. — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in front of a home on 105th Street.

According to authorities, at approximately 4:27 p.m., an unidentified individual fired multiple shots outside 103-35 105th Street. After discharging the firearm, the suspect fled westbound on 105th Street and remains at large.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting, police confirmed. Investigators have not released a description of the suspect.

Detectives were on scene Friday evening, canvassing the area for witnesses and potential surveillance footage that may assist in identifying the shooter.

At this time, officials have not disclosed a possible motive for the gunfire. The investigation remains active as officers continue to gather information.
