ShotSpotter Alert Prompts Investigation of Shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — On Saturday evening, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1600 block of North Monroe Street, discovering a 27-year-old man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

At approximately 8:34 p.m. on July 27, officers arrived at the scene and found the injured man, who was promptly transported to a local hospital by medics and is currently in stable condition.

Western District shooting detectives have taken over the investigation.
