Silver Alert Issued for Missing 79-Year-Old DeFuniak Springs Man

WALTON COUNTY, FL – A 79-year-old man has gone missing in DeFuniak Springs, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office which has issued a silver alert for Thomas Jordon, Jr., 79, of DeFuniak Springs.

“Mr. Jordan left his residence on Goodwin Road around 7:30 pm on February 2nd and has not returned home. His family reported him missing late yesterday evening,” police said.

Jordon is described as a black male, 5’10 tall, approximately 200 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

“Mr. Jordan has early-onset dementia. He frequents several businesses in the DeFuniak Springs area but does not have a cell phone,” they added.

Jordan, police said, left his residence in a white 2009 Lincoln Town Car with some damage on the passenger side bearing Florida tag 3752YX.
He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with an olive green undershirt and green camouflage pants.
