Silver Alert Issued for Missing Man in Newark

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Department of Public Safety is actively seeking public assistance in locating Maurice Mccullers, a 59-year-old resident of Newark, reported missing since August 21.

Mccullers was last observed at around 1:12 PM departing from 20 Frontage Road. Described as an African-American male, he stands at 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and a brown complexion. At the time of his disappearance, Mccullers was dressed in a black T-shirt, black pants, and black sneakers.

Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé is urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Maurice Mccullers to contact the Police Division’s Crime Stopper tip line, available 24 hours, at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
