The New York Lottery has revealed that six third-prize-winning tickets, each worth $50,000, were sold for the April 3 Powerball drawing.
Locations where the winning tickets were sold include 7-Eleven in Bay Shore, Bedford Hills Deli, Lucky Choice Convenience and Riverside Gourmet Market in Manhattan, Smokes 4 Less in Newburgh, and 7-Eleven Store in South Wales. Powerball numbers are chosen from a pool of 1 to 69, with the red Power Ball selected from a range of 1 to 26.
The Powerball drawings take place three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
