Skeletal remains found in Lanham, police investigating possible homicide

Lanham, MD – Police are investigating after skeletal human remains were found in Lanham.

The Homicide Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department is conducting an investigation following the discovery of skeletal remains near the intersection of Annapolis Road and Route 495 in Lanham.

Detectives are working diligently to identify the deceased individual, a process that will be finalized once the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirms the identity and the next of kin have been notified.

At approximately 10:20 am on Saturday, the skeletal remains were found in the area. Police are now working to identify the remains and determine a cause of death.
