Slashing suspect sought in Cypress Hills robbery

NEW YORK CITY – A man was slashed and robbed of his scooter by two suspects in Cypress Hills last Tuesday. Today, police released a photo of one of the suspects.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects connected to a robbery within the 75 Precinct.

On April 11, at around 7:15 p.m., a 22-year-old man was attacked at the corner of Fulton Street and Norwood Avenue while on his scooter.

One suspect punched the victim in the face while the other slashed his left arm with a knife. The two suspects then stole the scooter, valued at $1,250, and fled the scene. The victim refused medical attention.

Both suspects are described as males between 20 and 29 years old. One has a thin build and was last seen wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans, while the other has a medium build and was wearing gray sweatpants and a white sweatshirt.
