Slate Belt Police Investigate Series Burglaries

PEN ARGYL, PA – The Slate Belt Regional Police Department is investigating a series of burglaries and attempted break-ins that occurred recently in Pen Argyl Borough.

The incidents were reported in various locations including the 700 block of W. Pennsylvania Avenue, 600 block of E. Mountain Avenue, and the first blocks of E. Plainfield Avenue and Davey Avenue.

Residents with surveillance footage or information are asked to contact the Slate Belt Regional Police Department at 610-759-8517.

Additionally, the department asks residents of Pen Argyl Borough, Wind Gap Borough, and Plainfield Township to ensure their surveillance cameras are functioning and to secure their homes by locking windows and doors.

Reporting suspicious activities is also strongly advised.
