Smiles, Costumes and Halloween Treats for All Despite Rain at Lyons Mill Elementary

FRANKLIN, MD — Lyons Mill Elementary School successfully hosted their annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Friday evening, relocating it indoors due to inclement weather. School Resource Officer K. Gilbert represented Precinct 3-Franklin at the festivities.

The event, typically held outdoors in the school’s parking lot, was moved inside to accommodate the rainy conditions. Despite the weather, spirits remained high among attendees.

Officer K. Gilbert, along with teachers and volunteers, organized a variety of activities and games for students and their families. Candy and treats were distributed in a controlled environment, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all involved.

The event underscores the community engagement efforts of Precinct 3-Franklin and the Baltimore County Police Department, which maintains an active role in local schools and neighborhood activities.
